    2” or 2 1/2”

Ok, just have to ask, 518 or 516 heads? 518 are MW.

    Exhaust "drone" sound

Ah yes, dronemasters! Welcome to the club. You’ll get input on a variety of different things from the group here. Remember that each car / engine is a bit different. Just changes in displacement will alter this. basics: change mufflers to something inherently quieter, larger flowmasters help...

    resonator after muffler

Sure, added resonators to the tail pipes on mine, killed most of the drone.

    Resonators, any input?

They work. Longer is better. NOT the same as glass packs. Could also weld in a J tube. Those work very well.

HP exhaust manifold verses Header comparison

Very cool. For us onlookers, what have you done to get you there? Seems like the headers (if that’s what you happen to want) might get someone to the same place with “less engine” so to speak. That’s certainly fast for a car with manifolds.

HP exhaust manifold verses Header comparison

I mentioned the area “headers have more area to radiate...” but yes, same thought.

HP exhaust manifold verses Header comparison

Yep. It’s radiation, convection and conduction, the only ways heat will move. Let’s say they all start with the same temp exhaust gas and get to the same temp. Headers have more area to radiate, headers have more area to convect. Manifolds have better contact with the head to conduct heat to it...

    Glass packs as resonators

I used the delta. Can’t immediately remember the full logic but that’s what I did.

    Glass packs as resonators

Did a similar thing last summer. Started with a set of flowmaster 40s and had an awful drone ~1800 rpm. Sounded neat at idle etc but inside it was totally obnoxious. Switched to a set of Flowmaster 50s and it improved quite a bit but still had drone. Then went and bought a set of resonators...
