I just had a similar issue, rolled the passsenger window down and wouldn’t go back up unless I powered it direct, thought I was going to start chasing grounds and read this post
Hooked the multi meter to it and sure as hell it had almost 12 volts on the down side and 4 on the up
THANKS
The coronet was a 318 much better improvement IMO , the roadrunner is numbers matching but that’s not stopping me from making it the way I like, as for the purists they’re getting smaller as they are dying off , nothing against them I’m just glad to have what I got
I've found insurance companies will insure the value you put on them, they just up the premium to make up for it, just remember they will pay repair costs they aren't looking to buy your car, my drive trains are worth more then the rest of the car they hardly ever have to deal with that , /...
you can weld the k frame all day , wont hurt a thing, it's mild steel but high strength steel can not be heated it looses its internal structure making it mild steel and worthless for strength, spot welds and short stitches you can get away with to replace pieces but long welds turn it into garbage
you would be welding to a high strength sheet metal (unibody) when you weld it will take all the hardness out along your weld leaving it very weak mild steel, it wont last long
