I changed the stock ones with Narva H1 and H4s for normal and high beams. They push 100W each and they push more light than my modern 4WD on LED projectors. They are wired on a relay because they pull a fair bit of power.

I have the 95A Powermaster and it handles your load and more. There must be something else. What's the health of the battery like? As Nacho said could be the VR.
Why do you think the alternator is keeping up? How low is your voltage dropping at idle with the fans running?
I have a 100A single wire alternator and I have a lo of power drain - dual SPAL fans, Dakota cluster, power windows, Classic Air AC etc etc. At idle my voltage drops from 14V to 12.4V.
The problem has been "solved", sorry I cheated. I replaced the front blinkers with filament bulbs and kept the rears as LEDs, and it's all working now. I might trying putting the LEDs back in and flipping the connections at the relay as suggested above.
forgive my ignorance but if the all the blinker lights (front one, rear 2 and dash) are lighting up solid when I move the stalk, wouldn't that rule out a bad ground?
No blink at all, a solid lit up bulb is all I get.
Thanks all for your replies,
I will check all the above. I would have thought that if I had a bad ground the bulb wouldn't light at all.
Hello electric gurus,
I am in need of some help
I have this issue with my 69 charger. Not so long ago, I changed all bulbs to LEDs. I do have a Dakota digital dash. The flasher is an electronic flasher (LED compatible)
After I changed all bulbs to LEDs, the blinkers worked fine. A few months...
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone fit this on a 69 Charger?

I'm concerned about the fender angle too. Is there a better option?
Thanks for any help
Chris
Thanks for that! I never thought of that, I thought it was a continuous +ve on ignition. It doesn't really matter because the new motor will have a Quickfuel 1050 with no choke.
I just finished mine yesterday. I'm running a Powermaster 95A. I ran a 6 AWG directly from alternator to battery and a branch going through the firewall attached to a relay activated by ignition. I then installed a modern fuse box in my glove box and I run all electrics through it. I want to...
