Gee, just reach in and pull out his liver then stomp on it... I've been away from the Big "D" for a number of years and this is the first I've heard of old man Tignanelli? Help the poor guy out and set him straight, Jimmy Addison owned the 'Silver Bullet' and from what I knew he split the outer...
Ahh, Ron. Assuming a .390+/- lobe with a 1.6 rocker and zero lash your at .630ish lift, now subtract the lash and your just a little over .600 at the valve and that's if you have zero valve train flex.
I thought the Bullet had the wheel wells bulged out on the out side of the quarter too clear the rear tires? And for some reason the rear tire looks bent at a odd angle....
If it were Me, I would look at the Martz 4 link there down bars locate on the inside of the frames rails.. or as a alternant the Control Freak 4 link system can be done with the frame rail spring relocation kit.. I like the Martz system better everything is inside the frame rails, but that's...

If 850cfm isn't enough carb, Bob Book makes a very custom 2bbl 4150 carb that...
Well this may be old school thinking but any cam with more than 250* duration at .050 really starts knocking off the bottom end. Not that its a real problem with a 440 but it really starts moving the rpm band up, up, and way and that's not good for a heavy street car with a big converter. Now...
I would drop in a little smaller cam .620 In and Ex. after lash your close too .600 lift on both sides. Intake duration @.050 236* Exh duration 242*@.050 on a 112 center installed@ 108 Should still pull like a freight train.
I was stumbling around the net one day on this subject, and I think was over on for A-Bodies only, a few guys over there used motors from late model Dodge trucks. There smaller, lighter, stronger and replaceable unlike the original types that were used back in the day. From what I remember...
