I know anyone can throw an emblem on a grill, but I was always under the understanding that 1970 was the only year that the grill had the Plymouth emblem on it. '71 & '72 did not.

I'm sure some folks can elaborate more here. Side markers became prevalent in '68. By 1970 those side markers became lights. My '55 has no side markers. My '69 has side markers. My '70 & '71 have lighted side markers. DMV safety laws instituted this progression.
I agree. I was however advised by some of you guys and also the folks who run this site to leave out the last 3 or 4. For now, I’ll see if that’s enough to get something, anything at all to start. I’m not getting my hopes up too much. But it’s worth a shot.
