The stamping is the same on that side. You could just grind off the wire tabs and repaint.

I know some C-body cars had those tabs for the wires. I am not big in identifying valve covers but just to help that appears to be the LH side not the RH...

Me personally I don't think if doing it for an expense reason would be feasible as it will cost MORE. You have to buy 71 Taillight housings, 71 taillight Lenses, 71 Rear bumper, 71 rear bumper brackets, 71 Rear valence and get it painted to match... If doing it because you like the look then...

They make '72 rear bumpers for Dodge so I believe it's a Plymouth cause they don't make those bumpers.. 71-72 Plymouth rear valences ARE different.

Yes sadly rechroming bumpers have doubled in the past decade. But I imagine a '71 Valence and paint would be $500 at least...

You will also need to buy a '71 rear valence and paint to match so that is additional expense. Re-chrome bumper is $750 from Tri-City.
