318 b bodies in the 60's came with 5" wheels. The centers are the same as 5.5" wheels.
Now it brings up a thought, did 4 piston disk brake 318 cars come with 5" or 5.5" wide wheels?

Stock steel wheels? Ford wheels have a smalle center hole than mopar wheels and won't fit the mopar hubs.
What kind of brakes?
They didn't rub on my car. Now if your car is lowered or has bent suspension parts then it could.
I have a 1970 b body at stock ride height with 255/60-15 on the front on 15x7's, no rubbing ever. Cornering, uneven driveways, etc all fine. I doubt they would work on a 66-67 b body, the front...
Diplomat police cars came with 215/70-15 eagle GT tires on the 15x7 police wheels. Factory issue.
I like a 225/60-15 size better. And they will fit a 66-67 b body also.
Yes you need to measure your wheels where the caps go. Do you have 10" or 9"? Then you can go shopping for caps. See photo. The dodge caps in your photo are 10"
1967 B body was 10" caps the entire year. I had a car with 7/5/1967 build date with body color wheels and 10" caps.
Front with a 6" wheel is good.
A 275 tire is too wide on a 7" wheel. Use a 255/60 on a 7" or the 275/60 on an 8" wheel.
I've used these sizes before, looks and fits nice!
I don't like 8" wheel on front or 10" on rear. Too wide
How about we get back to helping this guy and his weld wheels, instead of where this is headed?
WE ALL need more info from him about what he is working with. There’s an obvious problem with his car because the rear wheel is staying tight and the fronts are getting loose.
Well you see I had my...
100 ft lbs is very high compared to 65. No reason for it! Makes it hard to get them off with a factory lug wrench on the side of road.
The guys that made the car tell you how tight to make them, why not listen.
On the other hand most people don’t care, and when they do know and still crank...
I don’t like working with uni-lug wheels.
both look great. But that car would look great with anything.
I am having home made beef stew for dinner, you have what you like.
Well it looks like you need to start in the tire manufacturing business. There just isn’t a tire like that made in this world.
And for the worst traction possible, gets you some radial T/A tires!
put the cap over two of the nubs and hit it to get it over the third one. Only the third one will get scratched. So figure out which one that is relative to the valve stem and when you remove them pry on that area to remove the cap.
Now that you ask, HELL YES it is. 225/70/14 is the tallest 14” tires I’ve found, unless you want a 9.50/14 LT tire.
Now as a drag racer you are questioning the cost and size of tires? LOL
And how many hundreds of posts ask:
”what is the biggest tire that will fit on my XYZ car “
