My 69 bird vin has RM21J9A100013 and a production date (not an SPD) of 7 /28.

I have a hood latch and underhood cable bought eons ago. I wanted to put in my 69 bird, but decided otherwise. I don't know if it would fit a 70 model, though. You would need a hole in the firewall to begin ang another one, with a grommet, in the radiator support, or go thru an existing hole.

Does anybody have a photo, or drawing, of the location of the lamp in my 69 Runner? I put one in the presumed right hole (original lamp and wire), but it fits loose and maybe I' m missing a small part to lock it into position. Thanks.
