Hi, Steve! I don't know if you remedied this or not. When I owned that car, I knew for a fact the rear springs had sagged, badly. I'd recommend re-arching them or replacing them. As it was only a 318 car from the factory, it doesn't have the heavier springs like the 440, Hemi or Track Pak cars...

Just on a hunch... and it's only a hunch.... Check your firing order on the spark plug wires. I had a car do this and #5 and #7 were crossed up. Shook the bejeezus out of the car.

I'm thinking that until that engine loses it's stock exhaust manifolds, you won't see much improvement with another intake manifold. The stock 335hp setup was very well balanced between the intake and exhaust and cam and simply swapping an intake probably won't gain much over the factory offering.

These were OE on 1963-1968 Dodge trucks with the 413 engine. Nice score!
