I feel your pain brother. I stepped in that pile of $hit last year. They are relentless.
I agree with the above. Buy, rent, barrow a trailer and get it yourself. SC to MA sounds like a fun road trip to me.
I just recently road tripped from CO to AR with a buddy to pick up a new enclosed trailer...
In all honesty, AMDs are hit and miss. Some are straight, some are not. It's a gamble. Having a bumper straightened and truly triple chromed used to be $250. The AMD's are not a full triple chrome. These days it's anywhere from $1,000 up to $1,600 to have a bumper done properly with true triple...
I have not fired it up yet with the hood closed. Math, logic, multiple measurements and the input from the gurus on here says it will be fine. The 500 is chained down very well. If I'm wrong, I run the risk of ******* up the underside of the hood for starters not to mention the top side. See...
I figured you would chime in Greg. I think you have dealt with every clearance issue known to man.
The underside of the hood paint is like a plate of glass and I can't afford any touchy-touchy.

You answered your own question. Don't go cheap on valve cover gaskets. Sneak up on the torque. I have found 5-6 foot pounds to be plenty with a quality gasket.
TStat housing is another issue all together. The old cast necks tend to mate better than anything. It all depends what material your...
68 Plymouth B Body front turn signal housings pops into mind.
Just purchased a sweet pair of used OEMs with mint OEM lenses from a member on here by pure luck.
I agree with you about Mancini. Every time I have called them it seems like they're pissed off and don't have time for you.
Summit's customer service is good but even they run into delays. On the phone on hold with them right now. :D
Unfortunately it's the world we live in these days. Never used to be this way. I blame COVID and the whole work from home lackadaisical attitude of the millennials on the front lines now.
I have found that if you piss up the rope to higher management you get better results. Gen-Exers. It...
