    383 vs 440

Yes, the adapter for the distributor allows you to use the 440 distributor in any of the low deck engines. Mancini has it. When you pull the 383, can I have it?

    Suggestions??

Is the glass straight or curved? I looked at pics online and cannot get a good enough pic to tell. If it's straight, just get a glass company to hack you out a hunk to fit. If it's curved.......the problem becomes more complex. Ted Stephens might have something.

    67 GTX Update

How far are you willing to travel for paint? We have a great place in Macon, Georgia. Troopers Collision Center. They mostly deal with insurance collision, but Trooper himself is a car fanatic. He's owned so many high end rustangs and Shelbys, I cannot count. He's even had a Boss 429 car in the...

best place to buy new leaf springs?

I have had people tell me good things about springs and thAngs (espo). But when I called they told me flat out all they could supply were the straight up OEM stuff. No SS and no varaitions. I thought that sucked balls. Maybe I got hold of somebody that didn't get a piece the night before.

best place to buy new leaf springs?

It's funny you mention that. I had forgotten that I got the best deal ever from a dealer. West Oaks Dodge in Thousand Oaks, Ca. That was with shipping all the way to Georgia. I don't know if they were runnin a clearance or what, but nobody could beat their prices at the time.

    Shade Tree Mechanic Edelbrock Install?

If they did not have a manual choke cable, then tying the choke open was the best thing to do. As for the electrical tape and coat hanger, I cannot be as nice. At any rate, you should get a manual choke cable kit and that will aid your cold startup tremendously. I would also put a proper...

What do you guys think this survivor-ish '66 Coronet is worth?

Too many doors for me. I'd sell it if they gave it to me. It's just a 273 4 door car. No A/C as mentioned. In this suck *** economy, I'd say 1500 tops. You never know what lurks beneath that carpet.
