    Front Frame Rail Question.

Maybe, but it would not be fun. Drilling all those welds out especially at the bottom of the inner fender, welding, and grinding it all down.... I would want to remove the engine and trans to have enough room to work. Don't want to find that out after you started. JMO.

    Hypothetical VIN question:

Last 6 are a sequential number only. Of the 1st 7 the engine (5th character) and assembly location (7th character) could be different with the same last 6 from two different factories I believe. For example, you can have a Hamtramck charger with XS29L8B123456 and a St Louis charger with...

    Hypothetical VIN question:

Since I bought my car in 2010 without a fender tag or broadcast sheet, I've trying to narrow down the scheduled assembly date based on just the VIN. I've found many cars with higher and lower VINs than mine and fender tags (showing scheduled assembly dates) so I've created a spreadsheet...

    1968 Charger Purchasing Advice

That doesn't look like the correct front seat. Charger would have buckets and a buddy seat. Look for other non correct stuff to help u lower the price. Offer as low as u can. Can always go up but can never go back down.

    B body " Add-A- Leaf" spring kit ?

See if you can find a spring shop locally to re arch them. I've done this before and it was relatively inexpensive compared to a new set.

Just saved this 68 Road Runner 4 speed from the crusher. Any way to tell by the sales order number when it was made (month)

What I have done in the past is to watch for cars like yours for sale here and ebay that have a fender tag and know the assembly date. You can then compare your vin # to theirs and get a rough idea of when the car was built. Not a perfect way but it will get you close. Good luck.

whats it worth 68 Charger 4sp

Depends on what you are looking to do. The body worries me. Rust in place showing that can lead to other issues. Fender look like alum foil. What else is the primer hiding? Have you see it in person? If your looking for a 68 clrrect car he has a lot of 70s stuff on it. It was a 383 car...
