I see that many people carry this L shaped clip that slides into metal bracket on door panel and the criss/cross spring portion pushes into the hole on door. I noticed one vendor shows them at 13/16th inch in height. So it made me think...I measured my original ones and they are definitely 1...
The carpet in this car was replaced once. I'm guessing the original one was shot. But the replacement job is terrible with large cuts showing and big giant wrinkles etc. Otherwise, I could think of better ways to spend the money.
Has anyone bought the "mass backing" on carpets? If so, how did it fit? I was going to put down some mastic for sound deadner, but maybe this is easier and just as effective?
Shipped flat sounds good. Takes forever for this stuff to unwrinkle the past couple of times, even using steam. I'll try them too. Interesting that every supplier out there uses the same exact pictures for the carpet
Agree with the premise of getting what you pay for. But in some cases, you're paying more for the exact same thing. For example is Legendary a distributor of ACC for their carpets, or do they actually make them? I'm looking for the best product at the lowest prices
Any suggestions for suppliers of carpet sets? I see that ACC makes them. They want $285 on their website for a set (71GTX) and when I check other suppliers such as Classic, it's half the price. Either the mfgr is pointing people to their distributors by having MSRP, or I'm not getting apples...
