Great, we are already looking to book our hotel. It's busy, so if you are planning to go, it may be a good idea to book a hotel (that's refundable) soon.
That's true, there are probably a few hundred scattered about at the Turkey run, everything from Hemi Cuda's to Richard Petty's Superbird posted above. We've went to the Don Garlit's show which is fairly large, but again, it's hit or miss every year on turnout.
My father's nearly 70, this is...
What a great turnout we had this past weekend for the Daytona Turkey Run. I know there are many members, even some here in Florida, who aren't familiar with the event. Just to be clear, this isn't a Mopar specific show like you'll find at Don Garlit's event in Ocala. While I believe there are...
Great show. As Flying mentioned above, record turnout. I've been going for the past decade, this was the largest turnout ever, easily over 6,000 cars. Vendor section was completely packed. Too many cars to see, even in four days.
For people who aren't really aware of what this show is, it's...
I'll be out tomorrow through Sunday in Biloxi, do you have event information from the registration booth or are you just going off the website? Great pictures so far.
For sure, we go to Daytona Beach for the Turkey Run in around eight-weeks, that's our big show twice a year. 5,000 hot rods, all in one place and cruising for a week straight at the beaches. Cruising the Coast looks like a great time, it's almost hysterical how many cars have registered...
I'll be in Biloxi on Friday, any Mopar events? Won't have the car this year, first time going and seems to be a better idea to get the layout / cruise locations (general event feel) before investing in the 1,000-mile round trip and renting a $300 u-haul trailer.
Couldn't be closer to the truth. My family is heavily invested in Mopars, I recently owned a 15' SRT and currently drive a 15' Power Wagon.
Car crowd people are no different than any other enthusiasts, they typically will gravitate to what they're familiar with or enjoy (in terms of...
I was their on Sunday and I had a great time. It looks like their was much more cars on Saturday, didn't get the opportunity to see the Sox and Martin crew. Hardly any wedge cars, mostly hemi powered rides. Was the nicest Mopar only show I have been to.
