I just received my Booster and Master Cylinder from Wayne 'The Ram Man'..
I have not installed these yet. I have to wait for my mates garage to be free, so I hope to have these on my car in the next week or so. I simply do not have the tools or space to do this at home...
Disc brakes are NOT better than drums. period!
The only thing they are good at is heat dissipation on repeated hard braking events. But for braking force and efficiency drum brakes rule! This is a matter of clamping force on discs being so high for braking to occur, whereas drum brakes use FAR...
I showed this to one of my mechanic mates who is a top machinist, we are going to give this a go..Will do it over winter though. So will report back some time in the future.
