If you're really questioning it, call Bob S, at Glen-ray. He's One of the Nicest, Most Helpful Guys, in This Field. Whether you go with Their Products, or not, He'll give you the Right Info. Mention me, that I sent you his way. He Also Loves to see these Cars out there !!!
Here's one of Glenray's on my '63, and I'm quite happy with it.
I think a Few of us here will be waiting to see who that will be ? Post them up when you have a chance, Thanks...
Call Bob Schirmer, at Glen-ray Radiator. They can repair your original, and you'll have a Quality piece, that probably won't ever need your attention again. Support US Made products, and Labor !!!
They did vary through the years. I've been picking them up at Carlisle, for a while, hoping to have some good ones for my projects. I can check my '65 to see what those are...
Looks like a Great set-up from here ! The only thing I would add is a shroud for it. Bob S may be able to help you with that if you can't find one local to you...
Good move ! Pick up a Heater Box Rebuild Kit from Detroit Muscle Technology, it will be like New when it's done.
Detroit Muscle Technologies, LLC Mopar & AMC muscle car restoration gaskets
Detroit Muscle Technology sells the kits for them, and reasonable. There are some repair, restoration services available, but it will cost to have it done. Years back it was around $800, if I remember correctly. While apart, check the heater core. Call Bob S at Glen-ray Radiators for that.
That looks like it connects to the temp level adjustment cable mechanism. What year and model are you dealing with, someone may have some pics to offer ?
