You disagreed with my question ? Connect to any available manifold vacuum port. Could be the carb. Could be something else. That's why you troubleshoot.

What are your vacuum gauge readings ?

Me, I'd go for the Edelbrock 600 cfm carb #1406 on the performer manifold.

One of my engines has the crossover blocked. Choke functions fine.
