Yep- should have LH nuts on the driver's side.
The studs should have an "L" stamped in the center.
Some 4x4 stores stock LH nuts.
There is a high probability, however that a previous owner could have converted them to RH.
Look for the "L"...and check several studs if there's not one on the...
My 72 had 15x8 Keystones with 265 50 tires in the back.
They fit fine, but I don't remember the backspacing.
They actually looked perfect in those cavernous wheel wells.
Were there Cragar brand wheels on Jeeps of that era?
I tried some nice, star type Jeep wheels in the JY, on a M body Chrysler to see if they would work on my older cars.
They fit and rolled without hitting anything, but the front hub bearing stuck through the small center hole in the wheels and...
Those have definitely been "re-hooped".
...and they look wider than 8" unless there's virtually no back spacing.

Note to Plymouth guys-
Dodge has more generous rear wheel wells than Plymouth for both the 68-70 and the 71-74 body styles.
...and the 71-74 body has a lot more room than the 58-70, as noted above.
Comparing a 68-70 Plymouth to a 71-74 Dodge is worse than apples to oranges.

4WD typically refers to a vehicle that is normally RWD.
The usage has been blurred my the MFG the past few years.
