3 on the tree was the only way you could get a manual trans on a small block in a B body car until 1971!
Stupid policy IMO, but that's the way it was.
Apparently that policy was also not subject to the "if you order it, they will build it" we hear about so often.
Easier to get a Hemi 4 door...
I looked at mine and the grill is different.
Looks much more like a 69 grill but still not exact.
Not at all a deal killer, though.
My mind is trying to justify buying another one and cutting the roof off to graft onto a "Tommy Boy" 67 GTX and make my 67 wagon in 1/64.
Was not aware of these.
Seems like it's a second run.
Mine is dirty and has camping gear on the roof rack.
The one pictured has a 68 grill but listed as a 69.
Will have to look at mine to see if they fixed that for this run.
66 and 67 gas tanks are all the same.
68 to 70 wagons use the 66/67 gas tank (and the rear floorboard) and use the spare tire well as the footwell for a 9 passenger wagon, or stowage for a 6 pass.
If you look at the roof lines, you'll see that they are all the same on wagons only from 66 to...
AFAIK "wagon" headboards are "just" perforated card stock, formed at the edges.
We have a member here, that makes the friction fit plastic separator trim- "EJL" is his user name
His parts are awesome. I beta tested a set.
