Don usually hangs out somewhere near the museum although he can be found almost anywhere. The museum is a relatively short, straight walk to the house and I've run into him making that walk a few times as well. Most cars that get parking by the museum (drag cars and esp early 60's drag cars)...

If it wasn't a high profile auction, I'd agree with the 13.5 number. 15 maybe. For 30, you can get a real super Bee or RR in almost as nice shape if you look hard enough.

Daffodil yellow is not a high demand muscle color and people can be funny about a white interior. I think AC adds value but a lot of people don't. I think a vinyl top detracts value, but a lot of people don't. I don't see that being a 30K car. 22-24

For the better part of the last decade, my wife's side business took us to Ashville (the other end of the dragon's tail. The first year, a couple from Canada rode their Harley down so they could do the tail. They said it was so crowded, and heavily patrolled that they were lucky to do 25 MPH.

I was at the Kissimmee show a few years ago. Our Gateway/Lenovo rep from work is the region show coordinator. Mostly (70%) street rods. There were a handfull of 60's/70's cars, and a small token swap meet/car corral. They did have a rally track that you could buy laps on in your own car.
