Because they are imbedded in the posts and even in the post headers on the forum index, and because they are video ads... ...it makes any page on the site EXTREMELY slow to load. I've also noticed that something in the code won't even allow the page to exit until the ads are finished loading...

Because you've already seen it. "New posts" filters out posts you haven't seen, organized by most recent first. They are "new" to you, only. "Recent posts" only organizes by most recent, hence the name.

Just trying to find some pics I posted the first year I joined. I found them by searching for the thread, but it was kind of tedious, as it was way beyond the 20 page limit the search returns.

I do know that any of those buttons can be disabled. Not sure if they can be moved.

My avatar got lost during the last upgrade. It was uploaded a loooong time ago. Finding "my attachemnts" is not nearly as easy as it used to be, so I just stole another one from another board.

Could be worse, another forum I'm on that uses the same software had a bottom ad that expanded to take up 1/3 of the screen. That was AWFUL. Took them a few days to get rid of it.

It goes away, but comes back on any new page load. WAY larger ads up top and mid page as well, since sometime last week. Oh, well, that's what I get for not keeping up a gold membership.
