66 is different than 67 coronet. They are interchangeable but 67 is smoother than the 66. Same general shape and length but slightly different style

Sounds like you are now the proud owner of a 67 coronet hood trim piece. The Coronet trim piece comes to a point in the middle the Plymouth BEL,SAT, GTX is pretty much flat.

True for non-metallic but the summit system specifies clear over top of their single stage metallic paints. You cant buff single stage metallic so you have to have a clear on top to buff.

When I sent mine to paint I provided my painter with 1 gallon summit single stage metalic and 1 gallon of high solid clear. I got back about 1 pint of the color and 1 quart of clear.

I have a couple of their HVLP guns. They are nice guns for the sub 100 price range. Haven't used their paints though. I mainly use UPOL products for prep and primer and then Summit Brand paints for color.
