Switch is good so were the pods, what are the wires that run to the box to some kind of relay by the pod with the short arm for? Not the blower resistor.
Guys,
I have checked all the vacuum pods on our 71 Charger and the switch on the dash and I still can't get the Max A/C to work. What could I be missing as it appears that the outside door doesn't seem to close to get Max A/C ? Thanks.
The biggest problem is the plastic nipples tend to break off. When you re-attach the vacuum line block a little die-electric grease on them lets it slide on easier.
Those are compression nuts. Spray with penetrant. I wrap either pliers or channel locks with tape and lightly hold the copper tubes while slowly loosen the nut. If you can could you send me pics of your vacuum hose routing to the vacuum pods? My resto guy may have connected them wrong. Thanks.
