Lets see all the cool 66-67 b-body mopar pictures.!!

Thanks  Yeah, they're 275/60-15's on 15x8 with 5" of backspace. I had the custom built by Cragar to allow me to run the bigger tire and pinch it in with a 7" wheel.

Someone in a local car group shared a sweet little spot to snag some photos...so I went to check it out.

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday, so I woke the old girl up for a cruise. It was just what the doctor ordered as we get closer to spring/summer.

    67 GTX tire size

If you're looking to run 275/60-15's the best bet is a 15x8 wheel with 5" of backspacing. You can "fit" with 4.5" but it will rub...I've put both on my car and tested it the real world. Here's some video of the test fit with 275/60-15 BFGoodriches on Magnum 500 wheels with 4.5" of backspace...

    DADS 67 X WHEEL THOUGHTS

Sorry for your loss. As for the wheels, a lot times places quote higher times to cover themselves. Have you contact The Mopar Dude at all? He usually has pretty quick turn around time and can even do custom backspacing if you want to squeeze a bigger tire under there. I was looking at the...

    1967 Coronet tall tires.

If you're looking to run 275's for a wide, beefy look your best bet is 15x8 wheels with 5" of backspace. The Mopar Dude can make the steelies you want no problem. If you're gonna stay with 7" wheels, I would recommend sticking with 255's. When you put 275's on a 7" wheel it pulls the bead in...

    Help with a 67 GTX

255/60-15 is the safe bet with 7" or 8" wheel. 275/60-15 fit with a 15x8 wheel with 5" of backspace. I've seen people mount 275's on 7" wheels but it makes the tire balloon and look terrible in my opinion. Just too big if a tire for a 7" wheel.

I don't have anything to add as it seems like you guys are on the right track...I just want to post and say you have a sexy ride. Love the color and look with the wheel/tire combo.

    '67 HP exhaust manifolds

Looks good. I'll be doing the same with hidden ignition upgrades but with mainfolds...for now. Haha. A little rust never hurt anyone...just adds character.

    '67 HP exhaust manifolds

Bold statement, but I appreciate that you shared your experience. I won't argue that using the stock manifolds will lose power...that's a given. I'm interested to see how far I can take the car with this setup, I can always change it later. Swapping in a pair of headers is easy and can be done...

    '67 HP exhaust manifolds

I hear nothing but good things about TTi, so when the time comes they'll be getting my business. If I ever go the header route, they'll probably get another call.

    '67 HP exhaust manifolds

I can understand that, but I'm going more for a stealthy approach. I'm gonna be looking at a low deck stroker probably in the 470 cubic inch range. I want it to look and sound as stock as possible until I put my foot in in it. Headers will always be an option, but I'm looking to mimic close to...

    '67 HP exhaust manifolds

Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably just run the '68 manifolds and contact TTi when time comes for the 3" exhaust.
