^ Who's "they"? City airport is about the most dangerous spot in the whole city, and it's quite a ways from Woodward. Maybe an urban legend there about plans to relocate.
The "Cruise" (aka Crawl) isn't in Detroit. It's north of 8 Mile Road. The current police and fire chiefs both own classics, though, and have asked to meet with event organizers to see about getting them to bring it into the actual Motor City....
That is too bad. Chrysler should do what GM does at its Detroit HQ in the Renaissance Center, put the cars on display everywhere on the main floor. There might not be 67 of 'em at GM, and GM's are current models instead of classics, but there are at least 40 cars and plenty of room for more.
The annual "help, I'm stuck in a traffic jam on Woodward and wishing I was cruising" cruise! Some year I'll get past the skepticism and head up that way. Kudos for the offer - here's to great weather for the day!
