Been using KYB for years and I like them. The Monroes I've put on for customers are usally weaker then the old ones taken off and end up changing them for KYB. Just my opinion.
For the race cars I liked to use the Mopar Performance with a I inch bore and used an adapter from the 4 bolt mounting to the 2 bolt cylinder. for a street car a 69 or so with disc should work fine. Your raybestos # crosses to MCA 88787 available at parts store like Carquest.
when I worked at a tire store in Denver early 70;s we sold a ton of them under Gabriel brand that I assumed made them. I guess that would be the old days.
it was brought up on another thread that there was a problem with these. I purchased a pair for my 64 wagon that runs in the tens and am now wondering if I should put them on or not. Would like opinions please and especially from someone that has used them. thanks
