    With the Victor heads, most of what I had to take off was at the raised intake port surface(where intake bolts to head). The other area (closer to where the alternator is bolted), I didn't have to take a lot off. I think it was just enough to skim that section.

    Yes, I had to grind a little clearance for mine to fit. Pertronix Ignitor 2 with Edelbrock Victors on 440.

My sparks plugs look about the same as the spark plug in the upper left pic. In years past I would have thought that was lean and they should be a tanish color. You...
