Hello,
For my GTX resto-mod, I am looking hard at going with aftermarket cluster and gauges. Specifically, Speedhut has what I am looking, but I wanted to know if anyone has used them and what they thought of the quality?
Thanks!
Craig
I sat in a similar set that were used in a 68 Pro Touring Dart and they were very comfortable. The owner bought a very basic reclining set and then had them recovered in leather. I have my original seats and plan to hold on to them if I ever sell the car. I am just hoping the aftermarket seats...
Anyone have any experience with Cipher or Braum after market seats? I am thinking of going this route and deleting the back seat. The seats I was looking at were:

The guy who did the restoration reimbursed me that day and handled the claim with UPS. He is a real good guy to deal with, and is actually building me another one now. I liked the idea of the aftermarket setup, but I wanted to keep a balance of custom vs. original.
I have looked at this system and talked with Jerry. I am also looking at the all inclusive system by CVF Racing - https://www.cvfracing.com/Serpentine-System-for-Big-Block-Mopar-383-426-440-p/440-wraptor-ac.htm . CVF racing is now offering the system in Anodized Black as well and overall it's...
I looked real hard at those units and was seriously interested. The only thing that stopped me was I would have to do something about the area where the blower motor mounted on the firewall. I decided to go with a restored unit and run a Sanden style AC compressor and new lines for r134. Now I...
Hello,
I am looking in to going aftermarket AC for my 71 GTX vs having my original restored. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Vintage doesn't make a model specific for this year I am looking at all options. I can get my original restored, but I am concerned about how well it...
I am trying to decide on what wiring to go in my GTX and seriously considering this system.

I seen a lot of good reviews on the pro touring forums, but was hoping someone on this board may have used the system and could share the...
I know my car is a different year, but on my 71 GTX, I went with 17x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. With that combo, I have 245/45r17 in the front and 295/45r18 in the back. Nice sidewall and fit with no mods. Not too tall of a tire either - Craig
