1 Square per section of some sort of sound deadener, will help reduce any vibration noise. Then the silver lined a/c ductwork sheets to insulate. Both are very thin.

    Another oil question

I use a Rotella 5-30 full synthetic on my 496. But your best bet is to ask your machinist since he set the clearances.

    Rear Discs or Rear Diff?

Unless you are racing on a road course w a lot of turns requiring very frequent hard braking, rear discs do basically "Zero".

Valve lash 69 RR with a medium build roller cam, rockers etc.

In post #5 you state they are hydraulic and not sure if rockers are adjustable. Hydraulic lifters, roller or flat tappet, do not need adjustment once initial "pre-load" has been set. Obviously you did not build nor set them originally. Is it "possible" for adjustable rockers to come out of...

Oil around valve cover filler cap

I don't have a part number. Just purchased from their website. Pretty much one size fits all because it's adjustable.

Oil around valve cover filler cap

Typically the only time I have oil around the filler cap/breather on the valve cover is when the PCV valve isn't working. Each one is designed for a specific engine characteristic. Modified engines change that. I ended up w one those expensive Wagner adjustable ones, but it works great.

    Big Block Mopar timing

Here's my 383 when I assembled it 3 yrs ago. Cam at 6 O'clock n crank at 12. I then put the intermediate shaft in and get the slot going front to back. Then set distributor in and wherever the rotor is pointing, I set as #1 plug wire on cap and install the rest of the wires accordingly. I've...

    Whats this?

Definitely not a factory switch. As said above, you'll have to follow the wires because no one here is going to know what that switch was wired for.

Is anybody controlling their electric fans with the Sniper EFi?

When I used electric fans w my Fitech, I used the Fitech to control the relays. It also provided for a/c. You have more adjustment w the fuel injection controlling the fans. Quick bit of info for on/off temps. Turn fans off and drive on interstate at speed and see what temp engine settles in at...

Well for the "most" part, this site is filled w majority conservative people who really aren't worried if your feelings are hurt. And a lot of times don't feel the need to discuss, (exchange of intelligence) or argue (exchange of ignorance) with others about their viewpoint.

    Iron Grit in Radiator

Mine was tanked and bottom assembled by shop, still have iron dust in mine. Cools just fine in 125° summers pulling jet boat, but very unnerving the 1st time I flushed it. Iron Grit in Radiator

Most of our cars in the 60's, 70's n 80's topped off the cooling system w garden hose or hose at gas station. Neither is or was distilll. Would just keep topping off n not putting in antifreeze. It's not until the cars became an investment or heirloom that most of us actually started paying...
