    What would be needed????

Early 361 2 bbl were at 265 HP as you said. The 4bbl version was rated @ 305 HP, with a tiny bit more cam and dual exhaust.

    What would be needed????

63-65 B body 383 4 bbl used a unsilenced air cleaner with no snorkel. If you go with a Holley this A/cleaner base won't fit. I would find a early 62-63 AFB and use it. That would keep everything looking original and still give a little boost in HP. In the picture I'm using a Elddy 600 which...

Pentastar and antenna installation without removing fender?

Am I missing something here ? You want to install an antenna without removing the fender or splash shield. If my memory serves me (and i am getting old) back in the day working at the dealership we use to install radio packages in new 64 Plymouths. We never removed fenders or shields. The...

What does an original 1964 plymouth b body radiator look like?

Shopping for a correct radiator for an early Mopar ? Glen-Ray is a no brainer. Absolutely the best! They have done several radiators for my different cars and they look and perform like you had gone to the dealer back in the day and ordered it. They will build and # it correctly.

    oil pan

It has the clearance to clear the early K frames and the correct slant at rear for steering linkage clearance on 62-65 B bodies . The only problem is no one is reproducing the correct pickup for these pans, one must fabricated to fit correctly. Crankshaft clearance should not be a problem.

    Decoding a 1962 build card

Chrysler might be able to tell you where region 72 was or possibly still is. The region # is the part of the country where the dealership was located. 61563 was the dealers ID #. My dealership was in region 44, Syracuse, NY. My ID # was 9075. The # being so low because my father started with...

    Sport Fury Golden Commandos

I don't believe I forgot them, if you read my post I said that 383's were rare in 62 and were available only through the fleet division. The Fleet Division was the same as Chevrolet's Copo. (Central office production order). 383's we're not an advertised option on 62's, at least not on...

    Sport Fury Golden Commandos

62 GC's were 361 ci., the 383 GC came out in 63. 383's in 62 were rare and only came through the fleet division. The 62 Spt. Fury used The GC name in the Spt. Fury emblem, all other models used the gold GC badge at rear of front fender.

MOPAR Crankshaft's Automatic vs. 4-Speed Transmissions

Was a common practice, think about the money they saved. If they saved even $2.00 per car in machining x's say hundreds of thousands of motors. Lots of Dinero.
