63-65 B body 383 4 bbl used a unsilenced air cleaner with no snorkel. If you go with a Holley this A/cleaner base won't fit. I would find a early 62-63 AFB and use it. That would keep everything looking original and still give a little boost in HP. In the picture I'm using a Elddy 600 which...
Am I missing something here ? You want to install an antenna without removing the fender or splash shield. If my memory serves me (and i am getting old) back in the day working at the dealership we use to install radio packages in new 64 Plymouths. We never removed fenders or shields. The...
Shopping for a correct radiator for an early Mopar ? Glen-Ray is a no brainer. Absolutely the best! They have done several radiators for my different cars and they look and perform like you had gone to the dealer back in the day and ordered it. They will build and # it correctly.
It has the clearance to clear the early K frames and the correct slant at rear for steering linkage clearance on 62-65 B bodies . The only problem is no one is reproducing the correct pickup for these pans, one must fabricated to fit correctly. Crankshaft clearance should not be a problem.

Was a common practice, think about the money they saved. If they saved even $2.00 per car in machining x's say hundreds of thousands of motors. Lots of Dinero.
Being a former C-P dealer in 1964, you could get a 383 Plymouth in just about any color available that year as long as it was compatible with the model trim color you were purchasing.
