My car was originally an AC car, but the AC is long gone, and I'd like to install a fresh air vent on the passenger side. I see some for sale on ebay, but they all look the same. I'm guessing the driver's side is much more common?
Is the passenger side different from the driver's side...

Silicone will have no problem with coolant, but this one is not rated for fuel/oil.
They make clear high temp silicone hose. You can probably find it on amazon. My experience is that it’s not perfectly clear, has a bit of a white tint to it but rated to 350F.
Actually, with incredible luck (never happens), I had a Graveyard Carz episode queued up and they are showing a 1969 Super Bee getting a radiator. Looks like similar location to mine, I was able to snag a capture of the part number 2863257. Looks like it could be a good fit for me.
