Oy, that super stinks. Hopefully some paintless dent removal can make quick work of it!

    Legendary Auto Wait Times

I ordered door panels back in April from Jegs. Just checked at Jegs and it says "Estimated to ship direct from manufacturer on 09/27/21, pending manufacturer availability." Hopefully they will ship soon.

The first "Hawk-Rod" resurrection, Roadkill style

Looking good, Hawk! I'd show you the pics from some of my welding projects but I destroyed all incriminating evidence.

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Been a while since I posted. Summer got busy with vacation and kids activities. The car is finally 100% back together! Took it for a drive last Friday around the block for a shakedown, no leaks, though I do have some weeping/dripping from the back of the oil pan (again, ugh). Trans...

Magnum Force Suspension "Don't Do It!"

Thanks for sharing your experience, it sucks that it was such a disaster. There have been a couple other folks that have gotten burned by MF here. In addition to everything you covered there are stories of bad welds.

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

The headlight motor kit came in. Nice quality stuff, and well put together. I did take a minute and seal up the holes for the wires on the control module. Module fit great under the battery tray, wires were a great length.

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Sunday blues. Found the trans leak, it's from the front cooler line port. I had a leak from that area before but could never figure out exactly where it was. Looks like I found it. And then I made it worse. :BangHead: Tried to snug it up just a bit and what was already somewhat stripped is...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

No pics to show, but have made some slow progress over the last couple weeks. - Front end wiring is complete except for the headlight motors that I'm still waiting on. All lights work for the first time since I've owned it. :) - Bumper, valence and turn signals installed. Man that was a...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Grill installed and I completed about half of the front end wiring. Ran into a weird issue where the hood is contacting the negative battery post and the hood won’t sit flush. I definitely don’t remember having this problem. Maybe I did something strange when I put in the battery tray. Will have...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Weather didn't cooperate as much as I would have liked, but I did get the car off the cribs, tie rods, drag link and driveshaft bolts tightened, fender installed, bumper support braces installed. Grill is next, but it might be a couple days before the weather allows.

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Parking brake install is done! Needs a tiny bit of adjustment to pull the pedal all the way up when disengaged, but 99.5% done. That was my last job under the car for now. Tomorrow it comes down to put the driver fender and grill on. I still need to modify the fender to clear the wiring...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Thanks, everyone, for tuning in. :) Lucky discovery today as I was installing the temp sensor for the electric fans. I’m using a threaded sensor and was installing in one of the ports on the water pump. When I pulled the pipe plug and looked inside it was full of sand: No doubt casting sand...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

Sometimes the simplest things become the hardest things! ;) I replaced every wire in the car except one, and wouldn't you know that's the one to give me trouble. :) The dome light bulb was removed when I got the car, and there were boxes of fuses in the dash, so that should have been my first...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

While I’m waiting on a couple things to start on the front end wiring i knocked out a few jobs. Coolant recovery tank is installed. I may have to move the horns slightly but they may fit in the stock location Also got my seat belt bolts in and did some final tweaking on the package tray...

    68 Charger R/T Clone refurb

She runs!! I almost can't believe it! It's been just over 2 years since I started taking it apart and if I'm honest there were plenty of times where I thought "I'll never get this back together." All the gauges work, except maybe temp, I wasn't able to run it for long. I need to get it...
