    If you backed off the throttle pressure adjustment, and didn't make sure it was set properly, you will have a burned up trans as a reward. Fix the cable, and sort out the drivability before trying to do burnouts. Maybe watch some YouTube videos on carb tuning.

    I just used 2x2 steel, and made my own. Still want to add torque boxes. Just remember to have the car on it's suspension before welding them.

    Yes, any convertible would need it. My hardtop I put in frame connectors, and it made a difference I could feel.

    It won't take a lot of abuse. What about a Tremec? You should try to get the best transmission you can to save you from doing the job again later.

    I get what you're saying. I despise Chevy, but they have it a lot easier. Not sure about B bodies, but an A body, you have to cut the crap out of the rear crossmember, cut out the trans tunnel, and buy a 6k front suspension. Plus, there's no affordable electronics. The one's that are, don't...
