Hello Snook, On my scoops you don't need a templete. I have studs hanging down for e-z installation. Set the scoop on the hood and mark where the studs hit. Use fender washers underneath and a locking nut, nut with plastic insert, and on the front use a small piece of chrome tubing that feeds...

You guys are all putting the new areas in the same location as a stock unit. I think it all has to do with the spring size and how you need that shackle to sit. Just my thoughts.

What qualifies a 67 Belvedere as being a Silver Special? Are they all silver paint with a black vynal top and silver and black interior? Are they all 2 door hardtops or could you get a station wagon , convertible, or 2 or 4 door sedan? Are they all 440 engines? Should we ask a professional...
