Welcome and I see you're getting some good advice already. Sounds as if you are keeping it original and that in itself will keep the value up if you do end up selling it sometime. Heck, everything is for sale for the right price right? At that point in time you could buy/build the big block car...
Hernia operation?? Hope it wasn't from loading up that new car to bring home, although it might have been worth it!!
Anyways, get better and we'll talk to ya soon. Hope to see some pics but understand with your current condition.
Sounds like there was some wierd things going on with your thread but hope its back up & good on your end.
Anyways, Welcome and CONGRATS on your purchase!! Heck, you may have ended up with more options than the old Roadrunner you passed up on years ago seeing the buckets and console, very nice...
Welcome and Man what a great find! Btw, did you send the hitch out to get rechromed? Gotta keep it on there so you can tow the Chevy's back to their homes with, lol!
Take care and have fun with YOUR car the way YOU want to do it!
Awesome ride, just looked at it in your photo page. You should be in good company here! Be fun to go cruise with you but the distance would KILL us with the low gears and all! lol.
Welcome aboard, look foreward to chatting!
I'm not sure on the paint, but have a buddy that does autobody and restoration work and can ask if really interested.
Most likely you already have 906 heads unless someone changed them and they flow fine. The 452s will flow the same but have the factory hardened seats already. We've built...
That blue is a nice color. Don't think I've ever seen a B-7 with a silver stripe, sounds like a cool combo tho.
I also like the wild colors they used. I had a vit-c duster, a panther pink 'Cuda and a plum crazy 'Cuda. A buddy of mine painted his '69 Coronet sublime green with a black stripe...
Hello and congrats from, well..... Portland too!
Good to have you here. Looks like an awesome car to work on. Hard to find them here in that rust free shape. Give a shout if you are looking for anything in particular, could help out with local contacts.
By the way, are you gonna keep the green...
I like both the yellow cars! I saw the yellow car that John Milner drove in "American Graffitti" and even got Pat Lamot's signature (who played John Milner) on a pic of the car at a car show here in Portland. Man that little yellow car was a rat trap! Beat up and trashed, but still cool.
Glad...
Well here is a pic of the '66 I'm starting to work on. This is it when I got it home. Not too bad of shape really. Most sheet metal is actually in really good shape. I hope this picture comes through cause we just got this Mac and I'm pretty new to it, but here goes...
I'll see if I have any pics of the Roadrunner lying around. Right now it's in a cocoon in storage. I do have a couple pics of the Belvedere when I got it though. I'll try and post soon. Thanks
Well here I am to say hi. I posted a couple threads looking for some answers for questions before seeing this. I'm hoping to find better comrodery here and a better place to answer my questions when needed than other places that I've tried.
As far as projects go I have a couple. I have my old...
