    Don’t ship with USPS!

I mean, seriously, how the heck are you going to stop using the USPS, when sending something out? For lots of things, in their small, medium, large, flat rate box's, it's the only way to go, price wise. Every shipper out there wither it's the USPS, FEDEX, UPS, DHL, are all going to have...

Something you should know about hospital bills!

Looking back on my past medical "issues" prostate cancer surgery, and a heart valve replacement, i often wonder what the VA has paid out to civilian hospitals, where the work was performed? I'm a military, Air Force veteran, so my health care doesn't cost me a penny, out of my pocketbook. Glad...

    Upper Control Arms

My .02 cents worth on the subject of replacement UCA's is go and purchase them. Nothing wrong with them in my opinion, as i still do lots in the rebuilding of both LCA's, and UCA's.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I must have been really bored today, no errands to do, no stores to go to, nothing to do. So i walked around my neighborhood, more times than i ever have in the past. I normally walk three times a day, and each walk is one mile. In the past year or a bit more, i have done a hand full of four...

    Well, another bad weekend.

oldkimmer They give you any "instructions" yet, what they want you to do upon discharge from the hospital? They want you to walk around, or have a diet restriction? Back when i had heart surgery, they sent out a caretaker to my place, each day, as i live alone. Wanted me to walk around from the...

    Well, another bad weekend.

Recovery takes a bit of time, depending on the type of surgery. I only spent 5 days in the hospital after they did a valve job, replacement, on my heart, four years ago, now.

    The ground was shaking........

Well, on a carrier you can't take off side by side. Can't be done. But on a runway, if something bad happens, and aircraft have to get going quick, there is no reason why it can't be done that way. When it happens, it's pretty much for training, and keeping pilots skill level up to snuf.

    The ground was shaking........

During my tour of duty in Germany back in 74-76, working the F-4 Phantoms, the F-15 was just coming into the Air Force inventory. All us Phantom guys thought thought that aircraft was **** hot, as the F-4 was around for a long time. Then around the later 1970's the Air Force wanted to send me to...

Mopar Parts and Car Marketplace display pictures

I'll get used to it, i guess. Change is good. Now I'll hafta look for my parts pictures, instead of my avatar picture, when searching what page my ads have gotten down to. It's now like Craigslist. What i would like to see is an increase in page postings from 15, so you won't hafta keep changing...

    What shoes do you wear?

That's a valid question that you put out there for responses in regards to a good shoe. They make shoes for just about anything that you can think of, in the way of fitment, cost, styles. I recently invested 70+ bucks in a pair with arch support in them, for this plantier faciatis (spelling)...

I was at a foreign car dealership with my friend last week, but i won't tell you which one, and their labor rate is $195.00 an hour, in my area, out here in Commiefornia, Who can afford to get your car repaired, if you can't do it yourself. Not many have mechanical skills, tools, or a proper...

    High Alert - B52 Scramble

When i was in the Air Force, stationed at Mather Air Force Base, in California, they had B-52's stationed on the SAC (Strategic Air Command) side of the base. I was on the other, ATC, side of the base working on those little T-37 trainers, after my tour of duty was over, stationed in Germany, on...
