It isn’t cheap but nothing in this hobby is. I used it because I was adding AC. It also keeps you from having to notch the frame rail for the alternator. I like how it condenses everything and fits everything tighter to the engine. I’d buy another one if I do another gen 3 swap.
This is a 6.1 in my satellite. Went with a OCP intake to make it look a little more old school. Runs and drives awesome! Still a work in progress but still drive the wheels off of it. You won’t regret doing it.
It's a 67 satellite. I did remove the center of the crossmember and rebuild it higher up. I'll post a couple of pics. It's not done yet but the majority of it is finished.
I'm headed down the same road with a 6.1 swap in my 67 satellite. My reasons were, fuel injection, weight, horse power and better fuel economy than a big block.
