hi guys,was wondering how to close my vent bowl.the manual says it needs to slide in a 1/8 gap,also says to bend tang to adjust.can anyone help,on how to adjust properly,,newbie here.thanks.i have 1969 satellite 383 727 trans, carter avs 4 bbl,thanks.

thanks guys..yeah i should of listened to chrysler kid,,all along it was the battery,,not enough cranking amps just got back from parts store.so now battery is charged,,should i hook up the 2 bolts back and try to start her?

i think i found the problem.i remember trying to start the car and the starter was clicking so it must of stayed in the open spin to flywheel mode,when i last tryied to start the car,so i will connect wires back up and try to start. and it should click...

oh, i have a 1969 plymouth satelilite 383 ,,727 automatic.

hi to all..ok after finding out my starter needed replacing,and after 4 hours of trying to remove the 2 bolts,,,,i was so happy,then while holding the starter with one hand and the other hand removing the last bolt,i thought it would drop out,,it stuck it only wiggles...

so the solenoid was sticking, causing me to start from relay?also it satrted clicking.i will check the battery,,thanks.
