no problem man. **** like that can drive you crazy. so all the way back is wide open throttle. what that does is jack up line pressure and put all kinds of pressure on the opposite side of the shift valves which in return takes alot of rpms to get governer pressure high enough to force the shift...
here is what i would do. above the shift cable arm is the throttle arm. take a piece of wire and wire that all the way fwd. should be a spring on it to hold it fwd. that controls the pressure in the line. the more that is pushed back the more pressure it puts on the opposite side of your shift...
