Sorry, just my ebody and a 67 Coronet wagon. I used a 5-speed NAG, and a 727/gear-vendor. Neither required much floor mods. No thread on the 67.
Ma's `cuda. A long time coming.
Gen III conversion is a great deal, especially with a modern trans to get all the spread-out ratios. A 6.4 with headers and a air-filter change, will get you over 500hp. A little tuning will get even more. Great doing 2K at 85mph and getting mid 20's mpg.....with A/C.
There are plenty of old...
It's just such a deceptive package. Power and torque from EFI, roller valvetrain, variable cam timing, and crazy trans ratios in the modern transmissions. When I sat down to plan my `cuda build, the transmission was the most important part to me.
This will get people in trouble. Stupid low-end power. The Smooth power and torque combined with the trans ratios...

The 6.4 in my `cuda is so deceptive. The driveline is supposed to be in a car a thousand pounds heavier, with all the nanny limitations. I literally had it get away from me once. I truly respect what Chrysler did.....when put in a non-limited platform. This may be the only driver-car I've had...
I did the Gen-3 change to my 70 `cuda. I would never consider putting an old engine back in it's place. It's so much lighter, faster, and quicker than any old-school engine would have been...plus gets 20-24 MPG on the highway at 80 mph. I'm running it with a NAG trans, and all the new-car...
TTI headers required "adjustments" to fit on the 67 b-body. That's why I bought them bare. After we made the "adjusments"/tube changes...my powder-coaters did the ceramic coating. The TTI's were a good base to start from. On my E-body, we built a set from scratch.
.... for the NAG1 trans? I'm looking for a wood-grained shift handle, that resembles the original ones from the 70's. It's gotta be for the 5-speed/NAG.
