Being not familiar with the 64 or 65 A833 will just take your word for it. I do know the linkages from the for Chrysler BW will not work. They are simply to short for the A833.
A few of the Ram Charge cars and very few production car used the 4 spd with floor shifter in 64. I don't think a Chrysler trans was used in any of them. Am I wrong?
Where did you put the electric pump? They push fuel, pull not so good.
Should be mounted as close to the tank and as low as possible. In the tank is even better.
Can not block view of necessities and can not be distracting to read. Next would be purpose. Does it need to be in line of sight or viewable.
Where ever you put it will its purpose be served.
Now get at it.
Have you checked the filter lately to see if it filled? You might try a different filter I have had them fail before. And they do not have to be full of sluge.
Fuse link wire - 16 AMP Dark Blue. Wire feeds a 12 Ga. red wire going to ammeter. All interior voltage should be going through your ammeter. The ammeter feeds the fuse box. The fuse box should be protecting every thing in the passenger compartment. Why would you expect the fuse link to blow...
