Welcome! Is it an automatic or a four speed? I had one (361,4 speed) back in the mid to late '80's, was PP1 red with black gut. If I remember correctly there were only like 78? built with that drive train. Kudos on keeping it a Satellite.
I am a purist and like to see them stay original, ESPECIALLY if it is still matching numbers. Having said that, it is your car to do with what you want.
All I can say is this.....treat it as the hobby it is and restore the car and don't give a crap what it is worth when done. Too many a-holes around who start with "don't do it, you won't get your money back". Who the fu** cares,it is a HOBBY. If golf is your hobby do you get the money back that...
That's cool. Neither were high on my list of colors but both caught my attention due to condition. I liked the looks of the brown one but preferred the mileage claim of the one you purchased. Did not like the bottom line on the brown one either. I lucked out with my '77, it has less than 11,300...
Did you buy it from the same dealer who has the Chestnut brown one? It looks like the one I had an interest in prior to buying my '77. When I spoke to the dealer his bottom line and my max were not nearly close enough. Picked up the '77 at a much better deal. Nice looking ride, good luck with it!
