    Second the use of an awl. The only holes needing a larger cut are for the shoulder harness anchor bolts.

    I recently installed an ACC rubber floor covering instead of carpet in my '94 F-150. Nice product, although I needed more backing material that what is provided. They can be a bit of a challenge to get installed correctly as opposed to carpet though. Slightly different techniques.

    When I disassembled my '69 Charger (Hamtramck built) years ago I found those same plywood spacers. I just assumed someone made them, but, maybe not.

    Shift knob dimension

    1.885" for an NOS '69 wood grain knob. If it was worn smooth after 50 years it should measure about 1.875". 3/8" U.N.F. thread. Also, this is for a factory Hurst shifter, not an Inland.
