Wife has a brain tumor. Surgery on Monday

Our best to you in this terribly trying time and may God grant you the strength and grace to get through it successfully. I must say of those people I've known over the years requiring brain surgery because of a tumor, the vast majority of them have had positive outcomes.

Llama Parebellum 9mm won't chamber hollow points but does fine with

I've run into that with a number of 'older' 9mm pistols. They weren't worn out, just didn't like hollow point ammo. I always attributed it to design.

Fall Out Drags-Battle in the Woods

I must admit when I went there last year after being away for many years, it was with some trepidation. I'd been through some very trying experiences there long before you did and went elsewhere until I put the car away in about 1989-90. Both times now have been nothing but positive...

Fall Out Drags-Battle in the Woods

Thanks for posting! The dark green early A body wagon (61 Lancer) is mine. I've owned it since the early 70's. Last year I made it over for the Friday session before the rain came and made my first pass with the car in 32 years. This year Friday was almost a complete rain out, in fact I'd headed...

I think I'm living in the Twilight Zone

I remember it. One episode freaked me out so bad I had nightmares for weeks after. I saw it again many years later and laughed at myself. Anyway, no offense intended to you. I really don't know how the red X got there. Maybe I'll blame it on the trauma of that one episode.

I think I'm living in the Twilight Zone

No idea how that happened. Certainly not my intent. See, I am living in the twilight zone. No disagreement at all with what you said.

    Walk in bath tub

It drains pretty fast. You've got a fair volume of water stacked up inside the enclosure so it tends to flow pretty hard once you've pulled the plug. One other thought: venting of the drain pipe. If you're not well vented it'll slow things down for you and make some noise in the mean time as it...

I think I'm living in the Twilight Zone

You're right. I will likely take that route with benefit of a little more time going by without incident. Plate renewal notices for cycles get mailed out in early Feb. If I get a license renewal in the mail I'll know nothing's been done at their end. I think that would then be the time to file...

I think I'm living in the Twilight Zone

Laying low with the crashed bike. I must admit I have to keep resisting the desire to tear into it and fix it again just to see if I can I have a thing for lost causes I guess. Used to buy a lot of bikes at the police impound lot. I'd repair, get paperwork straightened out and resell. Did well...

I think I'm living in the Twilight Zone

Thanks for all the comments guys. A weeks or so after I posted this the nephew called again and left a message saying "I have the title and we need to talk". He sounded a little more determined than he did in the 1st message. I called him back and let him give me his pitch: "I have the title to...
