Here is a picture of the original return hose and shield that came from my 64 Belvedere w/361 engine.

The 10-1/2" cover has a center to center measurement on rear outboard holes of 10 3/8"
The 11" cover has a center to center measurement on rear outboard holes of 10 5/8"
The 1966 and later transmission crossmember will not work on your 65. The bolt spacing is different. The 62-65 B-body has outer bolts spaced 14 3/4" and inner bolts spaced 8 1/2" The 66-69 B-body has outer bolts spaced 20 1/4", inner bolts spaced 8 1/2". This info came from Brewer's web site...
