Model J
Model SJ
While stationed at Wright-Patt, Dayton Ohio, I was fortunate enough to meet Bob Morris
Noted Pontiac restorer and Grand Prix Guru.
He owned a fabulous 1969 Grand Prix SJ (428-4speed)
Probably one of the...
Nice car....
A little known fact or two....
In 1965, the Catalina/Grand Prix with the 421 HO was faster in the 1/4 mile than the GTO
In 1969 the Grand Prix with the 428 HO HUMBLED many a musclecar owner.....
I think I know this car.
Last time I spoke to him I thought he was asking: $34K
But, that was 2010.
Very nice GTO.
PS: I think he added AC to it, I'm not sure.
That HOOD alone is very rare and expensive.
The HOOD was designed after the intakes on a specific aircraft.
It was intitially designed at NACA, before NACA became NASA.
Ford paid them a 'handful" for the research.
Yup, nice car, nothing to snicker about.
