the ones I bought were plastic rectangles...about 1 by 3 inches and curved a bit to accomodate the top of the moulding...I made aluminum 1 by 3 strips...drilled a hole in the middle of them and pop riveted them in. Worked fine...it's a hemi driver...and no ones looking underneath to critique
it's pinned behind the panel...You need to go into the trunk and remove the nuts holding it in place....Long arms...flexable body...AND when re-enstalling...place a cloth over the gaps between the fender and trunk as you most likely will drop the nuts...The nuts are 1/4 inch as I remember but...
if there is one on each side..it's wrong. Get some skinny armed person to push it out. The turn signal indicators ahve a stud and another threaded stud with a nut. (underside)
Yes..I have made a template and centering is no issue...just the distance in the rear....3 1/8 seems a bit short from pics I've looked at but thanks for the reply
installing the proper hood scoop on My 67 R/T. Hood is not drilled/holed and I need to know how many inches of space between back of scoop and edge of the back of the hood. Centering is not a problem but the space between the rear edge of the hood to scoop is needed. Thanks to all in advance
