Recommend foam pads for cutting and buffing

I haven’t used that system. I use 3m but I use a product called k211. It’s what we use on the production line. If you use that system just make sure you are using the polish that corresponds with the pad.

Recommend foam pads for cutting and buffing

https://www.autogeek.net/rupes-6-inch-foam-pads-6-pack.html I like useing mainly the blue and green pad. 3000 grit wet sanding followed up by the blue pad may be over kill. Try skipping that step and try out the blue pad followed by the green, then yellow.

Any polish you use will change the pad a different color if there is no clear coat. Are you using an orbital polisher? No need for the compound. A lambs wool pad may be to aggressive. Try a foam pad first. Autogeek.com has a big selection to pick from. Match the polish with the pad. Green pad...

    Glass for a '68 Coronet

http://www.ecsautomotive.com/ You can get it date coded as well. A full set to your door will cost about $2000. Also be aware that all new glass out there will show tempering. (those shadow looking lines in your glass that you see on newer cars.)

    '69 Coronet grille polish?

If you take it somewhere to have anodizing removed, all paint has to be removed first. Paint can be removed with a can of lacquer thinner and a roll of towels. After anodizing is removed, then you can polish the aluminum. Your tailpanel should look like this for a Bee.

    '69 Coronet grille polish?

Here is what it looks like with the anodizing stripped off. We're working on the same thing. I took mine to a plateing company near me. I'll polish them, then send them off to get replated. Not bad for $20.

    '69 Coronet grille polish?

You cut through the anodizing already. You can't polish that out. It would have to be completely stripped, polished, dipped then anodized. Those spots can be covered if they were painted correctly with silver argent paint.

    Interior panel paint

I'm not familiar with the part you are painting but it sounds like you have oil left in the plastic. You can use something like Naptha for a deeper cleaning then go over it with bulldog adhesion promoter. Are you using Herbs products all the way through the process. If not contact them to find...
