    62 dart tires

Yup, also a good size, and the sidewall height is more era-appropriate.

    62 dart tires

255/60 should fit fine, based on my '64 Savoy wagon. You might get a 275/60 in there, but that's a bit wide for a 7" rim; 8" is better for a 275. Biggest tire I've run on an early B wagon was 285/70R15 on 15x8 Mopar steelies on my '63 Savoy, but I narrowed the rear axle and it still they were a...

    Rotiforms on a '64 Fury?

4.5" bolt pattern, aka "BBP" or "big bolt pattern" - standard B-body deal. (Some Imperials had a 5.0" BP, A-bodies had 4.0" BP until early '70s.) Not sure if you'd need new wheels for those covers, if I'm understanding their site. Not much of anything around for 14" wheels. If you do wheels, the...

    Front tires for 68 Coronet

This is what the 245s on 15x8s look like; can hardly tell the difference between 235 & 245 sizes. (275s on rear.)

    Front tires for 68 Coronet

I have that size on 15x8s on the front of one of my RRs, has PS, no problems. 4.5" BS. Other car runs 235/60R15s on 15x7s in front, manual steering, no problems. 4.25" BS. Both have 275/60R15s on 15x8s (4.5" BS) on the rear.

1969 Roadrunner Front wheel width/tire sizing fit?????

Some aftermarket disc brake kits do widen the track by a bit, like 3/8" - 3/4" depending on the kit. Worth asking the manufacturer/seller if room is tight. May not be a problem on a '68-'70 B-body.

    hypothetical wheel question

Coker owns Vintiques and Specialty, and have also bought a lot of smaller-volume tire makers. I heard they closed Specialty. Last set of 500s I bought came from Holley (Ebay purchase) of all places. 15x7s will almost certainly have a 4.25" BS; all of mine from the aftermarket have, whether...

    Help identifying Super Tricks

Those look like dual-pattern, which is 4.5 and 4.75. The finish looks pretty beat up. The fronts will fit either A or B bodies with drum brakes; not sure about disc brakes though.

    Belvedere Wheels

Try ET Wheels, aka Team Three, in San Leandro, CA. They do custom sizes & offsets, but it ain't cheap...and I don't think they have a wheel with the curved spokes like a TTD.

    New Charger wheels

...or if you had some wide wheel spacers...the BS on the current-model wheels is a lot deeper. I did that to an old Volvo many years ago, spacers were something like 1.5-2.0". Worked fine, but I don't know the Charger/Challenger BS dimensions. I like the looks of the Challenger wheels they call...

I know know, another will it fit thread….

The sidewall wouldn't be a problem - it would be sticking out of the wheel opening by about an inch. The wheel opening lip would carve the tread. If you could even mount the wheels with the tires on them. 5.5" BS is already a tight - though do-able - fit. The Coronet bodies have much larger...

I know know, another will it fit thread….

At 4" BS, they'd stick out of the wheelhouses like some kind of Hot Wheels car.

69 road runner max wheels and tires

I've run 15x8s, 4.5BS (Ramcharger wheels), with 265/50 front & 295/50 rear, plenty of room at stock height or slightly lowered front on a '68 Road Runner. One current RR has 15x8s, 4.5 BS all around, 245/60 & 275/60s, plenty of room, stock height. A few guys on Moparts run 15x10s with 5.5 BS &...

Swap meet wheels, yes , no, to buy?

The steel 15x7s are listed at 4.25 BS & the 15x8s at 4.50 BS every place I've seen them.

Swap meet wheels, yes , no, to buy?

Roll of the dice but good advice so far. All I can add is that I've sent back a new "Magnum" chrome wheel because it was a wobbler - you could see it on the balancing machine, it was about 1/4" off. I've had a couple that were also out of round by .062" but they balanced & drive fine. Whatever...

1969 Roadrunner Front wheel width/tire sizing fit?????

I've run as much as a 265/50R15 on 15x8 Ramcharger wheels (4.5 BS) on a '68 RR, no problems at stock height or lowered slightly. 265 is a bit wide for 8" though. My '69 RR runs 15x8s (4.5 BS) with 245/60s in front, no rubbing or interference. Clip-on weights can be an interference issue at the...

    Old mags and lugs

If you haven't found the lug nuts yet - Measure the shank depth and OD. Look up "Lug Nut King" on Ebay and see what he has or send him a message. I've used them a few times for different lug nuts and they always had what I needed at a good price & quick shipping.

    Whatcha think?

Gorgeous car; love the '62s. Honestly, I like the stock wheel covers better; even the whitewalls, which I usually don't care for, look right. I'd put radial tires on it though, they drive so much better than bias-plys.
