Chrome pens are Molotow - Hobby Lobby and the scale modeling supply houses have them.
You can get 1mm, 2mm & 3mm sizes - 1 and 2 work great, with 2mm best for the raised contours.
I'm thinking the rattle can stuff looks fine for a racecar or where a satin-ish finish is required.
What brand of paint is that ?
And I can 2nd the chrome pens for dash details - there are also white pens, as well as other colors, at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and etc.
I don't have the exact measurements, but these were pulled from Googling "63 Max Wedge Engine Images".
B&W photo is from Hot Rod Archives, likely from 1963.
Colored (non-black) interiors have 4 different shades or types of paint.
Upper center windshield garnish is suede, same as dash, ashtray & column.

Worth buying the paint ship sheets from...
D4S interior from my car. Note Reed grain inserts, correct for the '68s; '69s used a different grain with 3 pleats in the inserts. Fun fact: Legendary tooled up their Reed covers from this car; I sent them its original covers. Also note door panels are solid silver, not 2-tone, and black armrest...
Sep 22, 1967 would be the SPD. D4S is the base silver & black interior, so that and the SPD mean it can't be a Decor car.
My Hemi car was a D4S, SPD 930, and current '68 is D4B (blue) SPD 212.
G'day !
No FT code for Decor Group, but if the Satellite-level interior is on the FT it would have to be a Decor car.
'68 HTs (RM23) were all Decor, for Coupes (RM21) it was optional starting when the HTs were introduced mid-model-year.
Yup - shouldn't be an aroma unless there's a leak or open container.
I have 5 cars & 4 filled fuel jugs in my front shop, and 2 trucks in my back shop, and I have no gasoline aroma in either.
Thank you for your service. Looks like a decent car, and I hope you have fun getting it back in shape.
I second the dual master cylinder idea, and I highly recommend getting a factory service manual.
